| When using SlabSetters - follow all safety instruction below to prevent accidental injuries: Always wear personal safety gear, including: Steel-Toed footwear, Work Gloves, and Eye Protection.Always provide lifting force with your legs while keeping your back straight and upright at all times!
DO NOT LIFT ANY OBJECT UNTIL all SlabSetters' hooks are fully inserted under the object being lifted and in a stable position.Do not lift more than 150lbs with any single SlabSetter (approximate maximum lifting weight per 4-set of SlabSetters = 600lbs).When lifting an object with multiple SlabSetters - position all SlabSetters to provide an even weight lifting distribution.NEVER at any time place any body part (e.g. hands or feet) under an object being lifted by SlabSetters.Only lift objects to an elevation required to clear the ground while installing/removing (generally 1" - 3" off the ground).SlabSetters are not designed to transport objects to and from the worksite - use other methods to transport objects. If the ground surrounding the object is too compacted to easily insert the SlabSetters hooks, create a path for the hooks. | |
