LANDSCAPE UNIT LIFTERS

SlabSetters are four specially designed hand tools sold as a set for use by two workers to (1) remove precast concrete sidewalk slabs that are snugly positioned adjacent to other slabs in a patio or sidewalk; (2) lift heavy precast concrete slabs without bending over, injuring fingers, or damaging the slabs; and, (3) position heavy slabs over the leveling sand to set them in position without disturbing the level.
Each handle made of strong plastic is specially designed to provide comfort while lifting the heaviest concrete slab. High-strength steel construction and a small round diameter reinforce the shaft while allowing the SlabSetter to slip between gaps as narrow as 3/16 in. The 2-ft. shaft allows a person to lift material while standing up-right with a straight back. Each hook is a completely integrated extension of the shaft featuring a specially applied angle to provide slip resistance.
